Special responsibility in contributing comments to the documents of the 14th National Party Congress

Speaking at the group discussion session of the Congress of delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations, Permanent Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha paid special attention to the task of contributing opinions to documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

On the afternoon of September 22, in Hanoi , the group discussion session of the Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) and Central mass organizations took place enthusiastically and responsibly. Chairing group discussion No. 1 was Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the VFF, Central mass organizations, Standing Vice President - General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Mr. Bui Quang Huy, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.

In her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha raised many passionate issues, asking delegates to focus their intelligence and make profound contributions to the important documents of the congress, especially to the documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

Political reports must demonstrate "aspiration and vision"

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha said that delegates need to focus on 5 core contents. These are documents that not only guide the Party Committee's activities in the coming term but also demonstrate the Party Committee's responsibility and intelligence in contributing to the country's major decisions.

The five key contents mentioned by Ms. Ha include: Political report of the Party Committee; Review report of the Executive Committee for the 2019-2024 term; Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (amended and supplemented); Action program to implement the Congress Resolution; and especially the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha emphasized: "The political report is the central report, the crystallization of the wisdom of aspiration, of will, of belief, of the Party and of our people."

According to her, one of the most important highlights of the past term was the fundamental change in the organizational model, from the Party Delegation and Standing Committee to the Party Committee model. "It can be said that this is a historical, strategic and practical shift, a very important change," Ms. Ha affirmed.

Therefore, she asked the delegates to discuss frankly and objectively, to see whether the report reflected the aspirations, vision and focuses of the congress. She paid special attention to the limited assessment, asking the delegates to give their opinions on whether it was "honest and truly profound", in order to draw valuable lessons for the new term.

In addition, the action program to implement the Congress Resolution is also a new point that Ms. Ha emphasized. She said that the action program is not a general slogan, but must be "specific tasks that must be done, measurable, with progress, a roadmap, assigned tasks, and responsibilities".

The inclusion of about 150 specific tasks in the "list of key tasks" for the first time is a testament to the spirit of innovation and determination to act in a practical and effective manner.

Focus on discussing the content of "relying on the people to build the Party"

During the discussion, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha paid special attention to the task of contributing opinions to the documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress. She considered this one of the two most important tasks of this congress.

"The Congress has high expectations for you, comrades," Ms. Ha shared, adding that the discussion group brings together many elite members of society such as intellectuals, businessmen, religious dignitaries, and celebrities... This is a valuable source of wisdom to contribute to strategic decisions of the country.

According to Ms. Ha, delegates need to focus on in-depth discussions on major issues such as themes, mottos, and strategic goals of the country in the coming period. Are the assessments of the situation, opportunities, and challenges comprehensive and profound? Are the strategic breakthroughs really suitable for the country's rapid and sustainable development?

In particular, Ms. Ha hopes that delegates will devote more attention to the contents directly related to the role of the Fatherland Front and organizations, and to promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc. "The contents of "relying on the people to build the Party" are very profound. These are contents directly related to our organization, so I hope that comrades will focus on discussing them," Ms. Ha emphasized.

At the end of her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha once again expressed her confidence and great expectations in the intelligence, responsibility and enthusiasm of the delegates. She believed that, with a frank and constructive spirit, the opinions contributed at the discussion session would contribute significantly to the overall success of the congress, creating quality documents that truly entered life, meeting the expectations of the Party and the people.
