Yen Bai - September is the best time to experience Khau Pha paragliding , watching the ripe rice season at an unimaginable height.

The paragliding festival is part of a series of tourism activities taking place in September 2023 in Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province.

Khau Pha is one of the longest passes in the country, over 1,200m above sea level, the take-off point is about 600m above sea level.

Khau Pha is considered by many domestic and international pilots to be one of the most beautiful paragliding spots in Vietnam.

During the Paragliding Festival 2023 "Flying over the scenic area of ​​Mu Cang Chai", visitors can experience viewing terraced fields from above by paragliding or ultralight aircraft.

With paragliding, visitors will fly with a professional pilot, starting from the top of the mountain, taking advantage of the wind and hot air currents to gain altitude and move.

Many people were overwhelmed by the majestic scene of clouds sliding down from the top of Khau Pha mountain to the terraced fields during the ripe rice season.

Mr. Dang Van My - the paragliding pilot with the most flying hours in Vietnam shared: "This year, adventurous tourists who return to Mu Cang Chai to paraglide will notice many interesting differences."
