In the atmosphere of the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025), Hai Phong has a new milestone in the chain of tourism - entertainment - culinary products in Cat Ba Central Bay invested bySun Group Corporation launched on May 30. This is an important turning point, demonstrating the determination to turn the core area of the World Natural Heritage into an attractive tourist destination.
"Green Island Symphony" attracted a large audience.

The show was created by Sun Group "at lightning speed" in just 2 months.
In just one year, the appearance of the Central Bay has changed dramatically. A modern sea square, spacious beaches, restaurant ecosystem, night market, electric transportation... have breathed new life into the pearl island. An art and sports performance on the sea that simultaneously set two Guinness World Records has opened, bringing a different spirit of creation and the desire to elevate the destination.

Cat Ba Central Bay lights up with world-class art experiences.
Mr. Vu Trong Hieu - Chairman of Cat Ba Town People's Committee said that the direction of tourism development is different: "This is the core area of the World Heritage, where there is landscape, biodiversity and cultural depth. Therefore, we need a direction that is different enough - preserving the heritage and making tourists want to come back."
A "miracle" takes place on the sea only in Cat Ba in the summer
On the evening of May 30, thousands of spectators witnessed the moment of awarding two Guinness World Records to the show “Green Island Symphony”: “Jetski fireworks show with the largest formation in the world” and “Most acrobatic flyboard turns in one minute”.

The show set two world records.
“Green Island Symphony” was created in just 2 months, turning a sea area that had never hosted a large-scale performance in Cat Ba Central Bay into the stage of an international-class sports and art show.
The project was completed simultaneously from infrastructure, thousands of seats, operating multi-level performance technology in the middle of the sea, gathering nearly 40 of the world's top international athletes to perform at the same time, to passing 3 rounds of rigorous inspection to set 2 unprecedented Guinness World Records.

Vietnamese audiences get to experience world-class art right in their homeland.
This is a feat not only in terms of organization, but also a clear expression of Sun Group's aspiration to bring the world's best performances to Vietnamese audiences, so that Vietnamese people can enjoy world-class experiences right in their homeland.
The show, produced by the world's leading production units H2O Events and LaserVision, was inspired by the legend of the crane fairy and the theory of the five elements. The show recreated the flow of nature through the language of performance technology: jetski, flyboard, jetsurf, laser, fireworks and music. The opening night attracted thousands of spectators to the central square and Cat Ba beach.

The auditorium was packed on opening night.
“I thought I was watching a CGI rendering, because of the precision and overwhelmingness of every movement,” said a visitor from Sydney, Australia.
The show currently maintains a performance schedule of 5 nights per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., expected to last until early September. The listed ticket price starts from 1 million VND/ticket, with discounts when purchasing packages of 2 or 3 tickets, show packages with dinner. Customers booking tickets via the Sun Paradise Land app will enjoy discounts of up to 45%, with ticket prices only 550,000 VND.
Synchronized infrastructure - Seamless travel experience completed quickly
Not only is it the venue for the record-breaking show, the entire Cat Ba Central Bay has been invested in synchronously to become the new “tourist heart” of the pearl island. In just one year, especially in the past few months, green transport infrastructure, central square, night market and coastal restaurant chain have all been quickly completed by Sun Group, providing a seamless travel experience day and night.

Vui-Fest night market attracts many tourists.
Vui-Fest Night Market opens up a vibrant space with mini-shows, games, music and food. Visitors can enjoy miniature Hai Phong cuisine with a variety of local dishes, participate in mini-games, claw machines, listen to acoustic music or shop for gifts and local specialties at OCOP booths.
Right next door, two beachside restaurants, The Forest Beach Club and The Sea Beach Club, serve guests all day with delicious cuisine, from fresh seafood to grilled dishes, along with Sun Kraftbeer craft beer, the first in the North. A new space that meets both the needs of dining and enjoying the beautiful scenery in the heart of the island for visitors.

The electric transport route was inaugurated on the same day, May 30.
Along with tourism products, on May 30, Sun Group also launched a transportation service connecting Phu Long cable car station to Central Bay - where the largest entertainment, culinary and event venues in Cat Ba converge. This electric bus and buggy route is part of the strategy to develop green tourism infrastructure, helping tourists move conveniently, synchronously and reducing pressure on existing traffic.
The event of simultaneously launching a series of products in just one day shows Sun Group's desire to beautify lands by constantly pursuing differences.
“We do not recreate what has already been done. We seek what Vietnam does not have, and deserves to have. So that Vietnamese people can enjoy the most quintessential culinary and artistic experiences, right in their own homeland,” said Mr. Dang Minh Truong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group.
From the quiet lands, Sun Group has contributed to awakening tourism vitality with long-term vision, synchronous investment, and the mindset of bringing the world's quintessence to Vietnam. Cat Ba with "Green Island Symphony" is the clearest proof of that aspiration.
