Before the Bogota World Cup, excellent Vietnamese players such as Tran Quyet Chien, Tran Thanh Luc, Bao Phuong Vinh, Chiem Hong Thai... will travel to the US to participate in a warm-up tournament to gain experience and maintain their feeling. This tournament will be held in Houston from February 21 to 22.

In other words, the player who is considered to be of higher level will have to concede points to the opponent. Accordingly, Tran Quyet Chien, who is considered to have the highest level, will compete with a 40-point touch. Other excellent players from Vietnam such as Tran Thanh Luc, Bao Phuong Vinh and Chiem Hong Thai are in the Pro class, with a 38-point touch. In addition, there are also Master classes (35-point touch), A+ (32-point touch), A (29-point touch), B+ (26-point touch) and B (23-point touch).

About 70 players (including Tran Quyet Chien, a professional Vietnamese player) will compete for the championship worth 5,000 USD (about 127 million VND). The runner-up will receive 3,000 USD, 3rd place will receive 2,000 USD, and 4th place will receive 1,000 USD. 5th - 8th place will each receive 250 USD.

The 2025 Carom Billiards World Cup in Bogota (Colombia) will take place from February 24 to March 2.
