Provide knowledge of agricultural material quality management and food safety

(Baohatinh.vn) - More than 150 delegates were equipped with knowledge on agricultural material quality management; food safety in agricultural, forestry and fishery production and business to develop sustainable agriculture.

On the afternoon of April 18, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh city organized a training conference to provide guidance on agricultural materials; food safety in production and business of agriculture, forestry and fishery in the area.

Conference overview.

The conference was attended by more than 150 delegates, including leaders of People's Committees of communes and wards; officials in charge of agricultural materials and food safety; organizations and individuals trading in fertilizers and pesticides; production and business establishments in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in Ha Tinh city.

The delegates were informed by experts from the Department of Rural Development and Quality Management of Ha Tinh about some important contents and knowledge related to the rights and obligations of organizations and individuals in ensuring food safety according to the Food Safety Law No. 55/2010/QH12. Dissemination of Circular No. 17/2024/TT-BNNPTNT on amending and supplementing a number of circulars regulating the appraisal and certification of establishments producing and trading agricultural, forestry and fishery products that meet food safety conditions under the management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment .

In addition, the conference also shared the contents of the Law on Cultivation No. 31/2018/QH14; Decree No. 130/2022/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 84/2019/ND-CP on fertilizer management; Decree No. 94/2019/ND-CP dated December 13, 2019 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Cultivation related to plant varieties and cultivation techniques;...

Experts from the Department of Rural Development and Quality Management of Ha Tinh province thoroughly explained at the conference.

During the conference, delegates spent most of their time discussing, exchanging and resolving difficulties and problems that establishments encountered in the process of trading agricultural materials such as fertilizers and pesticides; and issues of ensuring food safety in production and business in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fishery.

Through the training, delegates were equipped with more knowledge on agricultural material quality management; food safety in agricultural, forestry and fishery production and trading. Thereby, contributing to strengthening management; improving productivity and product quality towards the development of safe and sustainable agriculture.
