Trang Nhung: 'My husband supports me in singing'

Singer Trang Nhung said she feels comfortable singing at the age of 49, without financial pressure, and is supported by her husband and four children.

Trang Nhung released the MV "Mong the gioi yen binh" on June 5, marking her return to the music industry. For many years, she chose to take care of her family and leave her singing career.

When her children were young, the singer spent all her time taking care of them. Trang Nhung said: "I realized that studying and training skills for my children is very important. There was a time when everything was chaotic, my children's academic results declined, making me feel uneasy."

When her four children were strong, Trang Nhung was happy because her husband supported her return to showbiz. Trang Nhung said that recently her husband was busy with business and paid less attention to her singing career and income than before. "Before, he was afraid that I was still immature, so he often gave me advice. Now my husband lets me do everything freely. When I have problems, I come to him," the singer said.

According to the singer, her children are increasingly understanding and encouraging because they know that music is her greatest passion. In the new MV, her eldest son Alan helps Trang Nhung translate the lyrics into English, goes to the studio to support, and little Trang (Alia) volunteers to be the actress playing the violin scene when she sees her mother struggling to find someone.

Trang Nhung is not under financial pressure when she stops performing. She said that at home, her husband is capable enough to take care of the lives of six members. When she has free time, she helps her husband with business projects. Sometimes, her children book tickets to movies or plays and drag her along. "Thanks to that, I am less outdated and not out of touch with the current music and art scene," the singer said.

Although she doesn't have time to sing, Trang Nhung quietly keeps her passion by composing. In her compositions, she conveys messages of love for life, nature, and couples. Recently, she sent her songs to musicians and acquaintances in the profession to listen to, and was advised to record them. Thanks to that, the singer confidently released the MV "Hope the world is peaceful" . She plans to release five MVs in the near future.

Singer from Quang Ninh, graduated from the Vietnam National Academy of Music. She is famous for her soprano voice, pursuing folk and lyrical music. In 1999, Trang Nhung won third prize in the National Television Singing Contest. In 2014, she competed in the Tuyet Dinh Tranh Tai and won third place. She has released the albums Lung Lieng, Chat with the River, Noi Lua Len Em, Son.

Trang Nhung is married to businessman Ngo Nhat Phuong and has four children. Among them, daughter Bich Ngoc was runner-up of Vietnam's Got Talent 2015 and runner-up of Familiar Faces Kids 2017.
