Awarding ceremony of the 2025 national robotics innovation competition

DNO - On the afternoon of November 9, in Da Nang, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union summarized and awarded prizes for the 2025 National Robotics Innovation Competition.

Taking place on November 8 and 9 in Da Nang , the final round of the 2025 National Robotics Competition had 877 contestants from 446 teams from provinces and cities across the country; of which, Da Nang city had 60 teams participating.

Teams compete in 3 groups: group R1 (for primary school students), group R2 (for secondary school students) and group R3 (for students from grades 4 to 9).

After 2 days of exciting competition, the organizing committee selected the best teams in each group to award first, second and third prizes. Accordingly, 3 first prizes (each prize is 2 million VND in cash and a ViewSonic monitor worth 3.6 million VND) were awarded to teams from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Nghe An Province.

In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 9 second prizes (each prize worth 1 million VND in cash and a ViewSonic monitor worth 2.6 million VND); and 12 third prizes (each prize worth 1 million VND in cash and a music box worth 1 million VND).

The first, second and third prize winning teams will qualify for the world finals to be held in China in January 2026.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, said that through 5 times of organization, the contest has created a playground, helping students from primary to secondary school levels to experience, learn and apply scientific and technical knowledge into practice.

This is an important stepping stone to help children develop logical thinking, teamwork ability and constant creativity.
