The contest has the participation of 11 flower floats, including forces representing the following groups: departments, branches, sectors; the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations; enterprises; 8 districts and 20 flower boats of tourism businesses on the Han River.

The parade created a vibrant and exciting atmosphere among the people and tourists. The images of flower floats and flower boats contributed to the pride of the people and tourists when looking back on the 50-year process of building and developing a dynamic and creative city in the new era of integration and development.

The Organizing Committee acknowledged the high sense of responsibility, the investment of effort and funds of the units and enterprises. All flower cars and flower boats complied with the arrangements, ensuring the correct time and route of the Organizing Committee. The regulations on the content and form of flower cars and flower boats were well implemented by the units and enterprises.

After the time of judging the flower cars and flower boats that paraded through 47 routes in all districts of the city and on the Han River, the Organizing Committee awarded the following prizes: For flower cars, the first prize went to Hai Chau district; 2 second prizes went to Hoa Vang district, Department of Culture and Sports; 3 third prizes went to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (representing the Front and socio-political organizations) of Lien Chieu district and Cam Le district. For flower boats, the first prize went to Aion Tourism Development Investment Joint Stock Company; 2 second prizes went to Aphrodite Sailing Joint Stock Company and Bao Duy Shipbuilding Joint Stock Company; 3 third prizes went to Hoang Minh Sa Tourism Transport Company Limited, Han River Cruise Company Limited, Bao Anh Cruise Private Enterprise.
