Actively fight against smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods

The City People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch requesting departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of districts and towns, according to their functions and tasks, to strengthen their responsibility in management, supervision, timely detection, prevention, and handling of activities of production and trade of counterfeit goods, especially fake dairy products, medicines, and health protection foods in the city.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested agencies, units and localities to strictly implement regulations on combating, preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, preventing corruption and negativity of cadres and civil servants performing tasks in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods at relevant agencies and units; detecting and handling or transferring to competent authorities to strictly handle organizations and individuals who violate the law.

At the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision by relevant agencies and units on the work of combating smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and the force of cadres and civil servants performing their duties;educate cadres and civil servants to improve their professional qualifications, skills, awareness, political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle to not assist or cover up smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements to encourage, motivate spirit, spread good examples and good deeds in the work of combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.
