Providing livelihood support and scholarships to orphans, the disabled, and poor patients

(BDO) On the morning of April 18, in Tan Uyen City, the Provincial Association for the Support of People with Disabilities, Orphans, and Poor Patients coordinated with the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City to organize the granting of capital to support livelihoods, medical support, scholarships, and bicycles to people with disabilities, orphans, poor patients, and poor and near-poor households in the area including: Tan Uyen City, Thuan An City, Bac Tan Uyen District, Phu Giao District, and Dau Tieng District.

Attending the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ms. Truong Thanh Nga, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, President of the Provincial Association for the Support of the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients, presented medical support to a poor patient.

Accordingly, the Provincial Association awarded 50 scholarships, each worth 2 million VND; 151 bicycles, each worth 4.8 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances in Tan Uyen City, Bac Tan Uyen District and Phu Giao District.

Granting livelihood support capital to 12 poor, near-poor and disabled households in Dau Tieng district and Thuan An city, with a total value of 118 million VND.

Presented 100 gifts to disabled households, poor households, near-poor households, orphans, and children of poor patients in Tan Uyen City, each worth 200,000 VND.

Presenting a symbolic board of funds to the leaders of Tan Uyen City to support the livelihoods of local people.

In addition, the Provincial Association also awarded 100 million VND to Tan Uyen City to support the livelihoods of local people in the coming time. The total cost of support activities is worth more than 964 million VND.

On this occasion, the Association for the Protection of the Disabled, Orphans, and Poor Patients of the province also coordinated with the State Legal Aid Center of Binh Duong province to organize free legal aid activities for the disabled, children of disabled people, and households with orphans in Tan Uyen city.
