Giving 'Comrades House' to soldiers facing housing difficulties

The Military Command of Kien Giang province said that the unit has come to hand over a house to Major Ho Thanh Phong - an officer working at the Political Department of the Provincial Military Command - who is having difficulty with housing. Major Phong currently lives in Giong Rieng town (Giong Rieng district).

The house handed over to Major Phong was solidly built on the family's land with an area of over ^120m2 , corrugated iron roof, tiled floor, with a house value of over 200 million VND.

Of which, the "Comrades' House" construction fund of the Military Region 9 Command supported 60 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by the family.

Supporting the construction and handover of the "Comrades' House" to Major Phong is a meaningful work of the Military Region 9 Command and the Military Command of Kien Giang Province.

Through this, the Military Command of Kien Giang province contributes to taking care of the lives of military officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances so that they can work with peace of mind and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

This is a series of activities to practically celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).
