Handing over the Decision to assign the Acting Director of the State Bank of Vietnam's International Cooperation Department

On April 4, 2025, in Hanoi, the State Bank of Vietnam held a ceremony to announce and hand over the Decision to assign the position of Director of the International Cooperation Department (ICD) to Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Hanh, Deputy Director of the ICD.

Attending the announcement ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh, member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; representatives of the Party Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam, the Department of Organization and Personnel, and leaders and civil servants of the International Cooperation Department.

Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Ngoc Canh presented the Decision on Acting Director of the International Cooperation Department to Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Hanh.

At the Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the Decision of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on assigning the position of Director of the Department of International Cooperation to Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Hanh, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation from April 3, 2025 until the completion of the personnel of the Department of International Cooperation.

Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Ngoc Canh delivered a speech assigning tasks to the Acting Director of the International Cooperation Department.

Authorized by the Governor of the State Bank, Deputy Governor of the State Bank Nguyen Ngoc Canh presented the Decision and congratulated Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Hanh on being entrusted by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the State Bank to be the Acting Director of the International Cooperation Department. The Deputy Governor hoped that Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Hanh would continue to promote her sense of responsibility, the results and achievements she has achieved in the recent past. At the same time, with her experience, she would continue to coordinate and unite with the Board of Directors of the State Bank to operate the unit, well implement the assigned political tasks, contribute to the common activities of the banking sector as well as contribute to the development of the country's economy in the coming time.

Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Hanh gave a speech accepting the assignment.

In her acceptance speech, Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Hanh expressed her sincere thanks to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam, especially the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam for entrusting her with the important responsibility of Acting Director of the International Cooperation Department. Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Hanh said that this is an honor but also a very heavy responsibility, especially in the context of the current domestic and international situation. At the same time, she promised to make every effort to devote herself, unite the Board of Directors of the Department as well as the staff of the International Cooperation Department, and work together to fulfill the tasks assigned by the Board of Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam and representatives of the State Bank Party Committee, the Department of Financial Institutions and the Department of International Cooperation congratulated Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Hanh.
