Donate money to support overcoming damage caused by natural disasters

On the afternoon of August 9, the delegation of the Provincial National Assembly led by Comrade Hoang Thi Doi, Deputy Head of the Delegation, presented money to support the recovery of damage caused by natural disasters at the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Attending the reception was Comrade Vi Duc Tho, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Recently, Son La province has been experiencing prolonged heavy rains, flash floods, landslides and widespread flooding, especially in Thuan Chau, Mai Son districts and Son La city, causing serious damage to people and property and to state works. Responding to the call of the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the National Assembly delegation of the province came to share the difficulties and support the amount of 50 million VND to help people in the disaster area.

As of the afternoon of August 9, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has received more than 13.2 billion VND from agencies, units, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and people inside and outside the province to support and help people in disaster areas with material and spiritual support, contributing to quickly restoring production and stabilizing life./.
