To encourage content creators to continue to thrive on the "promised land" of YouTube Shorts, after the "YouTube Multi-format Champion" workshop, Metub officially announced that the "Multi-format Challenge" will officially launch from early May 2023.

In early 2023, YouTube enabled monetization for YouTube Shorts ( videos under 60 seconds). YouTube Shorts has become a "promised land" for content creators to have more options to reach viewers, brands and increase income.

Accordingly, revenue from Shorts advertising, from February 2023, the advertising revenue sharing model from YouTube Shorts has been officially applied. Creators receiving revenue from advertising will receive 45% of the revenue. This revenue will be distributed to creators based on the number of short video views in each country.
