On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, on the morning of April 24, Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, led a working delegation to visit and present gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in Phu Tan district.
The delegation visited, expressed gratitude and presented gifts to the family of war invalid Phan Van Hoang (born in 1940), Cha La hamlet, Phu Thuan commune. Although he is a 21% war invalid, 41-60% infected with toxic chemicals, and has poor health, Mr. Phan Van Hoang is always exemplary and strives to participate in activities and movements organized by the hamlet and commune. Mr. Hoang's family always preserves and promotes revolutionary traditions, strictly implements the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State, has children and grandchildren participating in local work, actively contributing to the socio -economic development of the commune.
The delegation visited and presented gifts at the home of 21% disabled veteran Bui Van Duong (born in 1944), Phu Thanh hamlet, Phu My commune. Despite his disability, Mr. Duong always upholds the spirit of "disabled but not useless", becoming a shining example in local labor production. Mr. Duong always lives as an exemplary person, spreading enthusiasm and the spirit of service and dedication to the revolution to the younger generation. In addition, Mr. Duong and his family are always at the forefront of participating in activities and movements and have made many contributions to the development of the locality.
Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Tran Hoang An (born in 1946), a 21% war invalid, in Vam Xang hamlet, Phu My commune. Mr. Tran Hoang An's wife, Mrs. Tran Thi Trang (born in 1950), was also a resistance fighter and was exposed to 40% of toxic chemicals. With a revolutionary tradition, Mr. An's family always lives a standard life, sets an example, actively participates and contributes to the common work of the locality, and receives the trust and respect of neighbors and local authorities.
At the places he visited, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai respectfully acknowledged, expressed gratitude and honored the great contributions of meritorious people and families with meritorious services to the revolutionary cause of his homeland Ca Mau . “I bow my head in remembrance, gratitude and record the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed their blood and bones to gain peace and unity. Today's generation must continue to preserve those revolutionary achievements, live with the right ideals, have noble aspirations, and contribute to protect and build the homeland and the country to develop more and more to step into the era of national growth”, comrade Nguyen Ho Hai passionately shared.
Affirming that the Party, the State and the whole society always focus on caring for and implementing thoughtfully and meaningfully the policies of gratitude and repayment to people with meritorious services and families with meritorious services, comrade Nguyen Ho Hai noted: “Not only through visits and gift-giving on holidays, New Year, and important anniversaries of the locality and the country, but the work of gratitude and repayment, “remembering the source of water when drinking” must be paid attention to and implemented more consistently and comprehensively by Party committees, authorities and the whole society. We must do everything possible to ensure that families with meritorious services and people with meritorious services to the revolution have increasingly prosperous and happy living conditions, and are fully cared for in terms of material, spiritual and health. Local Party committees and authorities must be the closest, not only fully implementing but also being proactive, flexible and responsible to do this meaningful work well”.
Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai, with deep gratitude, sent: "I hope you will live happily and healthily, continue to preserve and promote revolutionary traditions, set a good example for your children and the community; continue to accompany and contribute to the stability and development of the locality and homeland of Ca Mau".
