
Comrade Tran Phuong (birth name Vu Van Dung), born on November 1, 1927. Hometown is Xuan Duc commune, My Hao district, Hung Yen province (now Duong Hao ward, Hung Yen province). During 80 years of revolutionary activities, Comrade Tran Phuong has made many contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, and was awarded the Ho Chi Minh Medal by the Party and the State; the 80-year Party membership badge and many other noble medals and orders.

At the funeral, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia and the delegates respectfully offered incense, observed a minute of silence, remembered the merits and bid farewell to former Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers Tran Phuong. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia and the delegates in the delegation came to express condolences to the family of former Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers Tran Phuong. On behalf of the delegation of Hung Yen province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia wrote in the condolence book: "The Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Hung Yen province deeply mourn comrade Tran Phuong, former Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers (now Deputy Prime Minister), an outstanding son of his homeland Hung Yen. He devoted his whole life to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, the cause of innovation and development of the country and his homeland Hung Yen".
