Van Giang commune towards the flood areas of Cao Bang and Thai Nguyen

On October 25, Van Giang commune organized a convoy of vehicles carrying goods, necessities and cash to Cao Bang and Thai Nguyen provinces to support people in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods.

The convoy of vehicles carrying goods to support people in provinces affected by storms and floods in Van Giang commune departed early in the morning of October 25.

In Bao Lam commune, Cao Bang province, the delegation presented relief goods worth more than 200 million VND including: nearly 3 tons of rice, 446 boxes of instant noodles, many essential necessities and school supplies, and 50 million VND in cash. The delegation directly presented gifts to 100 households in difficult circumstances, and provided 173 gifts to students of Vinh Phong Kindergarten and Vinh Phong Primary School (Bao Lam commune).

In Thai Nguyen province, the delegation presented more than 100 barrels of water and over 5,000 textbooks from grades 1 to 9 to students of Chua Hang 1 Secondary School.

Relief funds and goods were drawn from the Van Giang Commune Relief Fund and donations from officials, party members and people of Van Giang Commune.
