At that time, the selling price of the Space Orange iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max was even inflated by tens of millions of VND in the "black market". There were times when the Space Orange iPhone 17 Pro Max was offered for sale at prices more than 10 million VND higher than Apple's listed price.
After a month, the supply of iPhone 17 Pro Max has gradually stabilized. In addition, the preferences of Vietnamese users have also shifted. The "Space Orange" version is no longer as popular as before; instead, the silver version is attracting more attention.
According to a survey by Dan Tri reporters , the price of the Space Orange iPhone 17 Pro Max has been significantly reduced in the secondary market, down to 38.5 million VND for the 256GB version. The current price is only 500,000 VND higher than the listed price, instead of several million VND as before.
In contrast to the price reduction of the cosmic orange version, the silver version unexpectedly increased in price to 42 million VND. Currently, this is also the most expensive color variant.
"Initially, the 'space orange' version was constantly sold out. The supply couldn't meet the demand, causing the price of this version to increase significantly. Now, the same thing is happening with the silver version," shared Mr. Nguyen Van Giau, representative of the Di Dong My mobile phone system.

This is the first year Apple has launched iPhones early in the Vietnamese market. This has fueled a surge in demand from domestic customers. However, the supply of devices in the initial shipments was insufficient to meet market demand.
According to information from retailers, shipments of iPhone 17 have been continuously arriving in Vietnam. It is expected that the "shortage" of iPhone 17 Pro Max will soon end by the end of October when the next shipments arrive in the market.
In contrast to the shortage of iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, the iPhone Air product line has not received much attention from domestic consumers.
"The iPhone Air is a completely new product line, expected to replace the previous iPhone Plus series. However, market reception has not met expectations. Currently, the iPhone Air accounts for about 5% of the total sales of the new generation of iPhones," a representative from Minh Tuan Mobile said.
