The Vietnamese women's team just pulled off a spectacular escape at the SEA Games 33. After a 0-1 defeat against the Philippines, coach Mai Duc Chung's team was forced to win against Myanmar in their final match.

Finally, the Vietnamese girls brilliantly completed their mission by winning 2-0 against Myanmar. As a result, we secured our place in the semi-finals as the top team in Group B.
In addition, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team received good news from FIFA. According to the latest update, the Vietnamese women's national team has been awarded an additional 4.67 points. As a result, we have moved up one place to 36th in the world rankings with 1,621,187 points.
