Deploying peak monitoring, inspection and handling of smuggling and trade fraud

Dong Nai Market Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade) has just issued a plan to monitor, inspect and handle smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and intellectual property infringement in the province. The period will last until June 15, 2025.

The plan clearly states to focus on inspecting and controlling the market and strictly handling administrative violations of essential consumer goods, food (especially milk and dairy products), pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, fertilizers, agricultural materials, gasoline, alcohol, etc.

In addition, the market management force also strengthens inspection of business activities in the online environment such as: e-commerce platforms, websites, social networks such as: Facebook, TikTok... In particular, focusing on inspection and handling of cases showing signs of taking advantage of e-commerce platforms to trade in smuggled goods, counterfeit goods, goods that infringe intellectual property rights, goods of unknown origin, goods that do not ensure food safety.

Regarding the inspection area, the market management force will inspect the whole province, at warehouses, goods gathering points, commercial centers, supermarkets, wholesale markets, frozen goods warehouses, food production and trading establishments, roads, railways, especially key areas...
