Implement emergency measures to respond to tidal surges.

On December 8, 2025, in light of the slow rise in coastal water levels along the East Sea, with a tendency to change in the coming days and the potential risk of flooding, landslides, and impact on people's lives and production, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, agencies, and localities to closely monitor warning and forecast bulletins and the developments of high tides, and to promptly inform organizations, individuals, businesses, and the public so that they can proactively take preventive measures and plan their production accordingly, ensuring the safety of people and property.

A section of road was flooded in Tan Thanh ward, Ca Mau province.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to flexibly operate the irrigation system, inspect dikes and critical structures, and guide people in protecting their production areas. The Department of Construction coordinated the review of roads, culverts, and dangerous locations to address issues and install warning signs.

The People's Committees of communes and wards must conduct on-site surveys, continuously update information on tidal surges, set up warning signs and barriers at deeply flooded areas, assist people in overcoming damage, and handle drainage after the tide recedes.
