Meta's free AI assistant supports Vietnamese

With over 700 million monthly active users, Meta AI is deployed in 42 countries, supporting 13 languages, including Vietnamese.

The official launch of this virtual assistant in Vietnam marks an important step in popularizing AI to a wide range of users, not only limited to the technology industry but also targeting the content creation community, students, small businesses, and all ordinary users.

Free built-in AI assistant

Built on Meta Llama 3.2, Meta AI offers fast, intuitive, and completely free interaction. Users can access Meta AI via WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and browsers at meta.ai. Logging in saves chat history, supporting seamless work and learning.

Meta AI is directly integrated with the search engine of Meta applications, helping users search for information while using social networks. In particular, on the Facebook news feed, users can request Meta AI to provide information related to the article - a real-time interactive experience.

Accelerate creativity with the “Imagine” feature

Meta AI also integrates the ability to create images from text, with significantly improved speed, allowing users to “imagine” and create images almost instantly.

From funny memes to animated GIFs, from idea illustrations to creative motion effects – all in one tap. In particular, the sharpness and text display on photos have been upgraded, better supporting the need for sharing and personal expression.

AI Studio: Turning Every User into an AI Creator

Along with Meta AI, Meta also launched AI Studio – a platform that allows users to build their own AI characters in their personal or community style, without programming knowledge.

From creating an AI that helps with study tips, to an AI that generates memes, to a chat character that promotes your personal brand – AI Studio opens up a wide range of personalization possibilities. Users can customize privacy, share AI with friends or make it public, and interact via Instagram, Messenger or WhatsApp.

Mr. Khoi Le – Meta’s Country Director for Vietnam – affirmed: “2025 is a pivotal year in the development of AI in Vietnam. With the official launch of Meta AI and AI Studio, Meta is introducing powerful tools, opening a new era of creativity, efficiency and connection.”

At the same time, Meta also announced the release of Llama 4 17B Omni, a new open-source model capable of multimodal text and image processing, supporting Vietnamese from the beginning. This is a clear demonstration of Meta's long-term strategy in accompanying the development of the AI ecosystem in Vietnam.

The appearance of Meta AI and AI Studio in Vietnam is not simply the entry of a new technology platform, but also a transformation of digital experience, from consuming content to creating content, from searching for information to intelligent interaction.
