John Nitti, Verizon's former chief advertising officer, has officially parted ways with X Corp after 10 months on the job. He was once expected by Elon Musk to help restore advertisers' trust in the platform formerly known as Twitter.
However, according to the Financial Times, Nitti left due to deep disagreements with Musk on advertising strategy and content management. Nitti once proposed a “Brand Safety Rebuild” campaign to lure major brands back, but was rejected by Musk.
Tensions escalated when Musk demanded to double revenue despite cutting staff and budget. Before Nitti, CEO Linda Yaccarino also left X quietly, making the human resources crisis more serious. Analysts say Nitti's departure is a "heavy blow" to X's efforts to resurrect it as a leading advertising platform.
Musk is facing the reality that his extreme management style may not be suited to the world of branding. Dear readers, please watch more videos : AI Trash Cleaning | Hanoi 18:00
