The scene of the deforestation occurred at plot 4, sub-area 267C, Hiep Thanh commune.

Accordingly, on September 1, 2025, to carry out forest protection management work in the management area, Duc Trong Protective Forest Management Board coordinated with local forest rangers and households contracted to protect forests to patrol and inspect forests in area 4, sub-area 267C, Hiep Thanh commune.

Here, the units discovered a number of three-leaf pine trees with diameters ranging from 20-54 cm that had been cut down by illegal loggers, forest products had been transported away from the scene, and branches had been destroyed without a trace. After that, the unit made an ambush plan, coordinated with departments, branches and contracted households to patrol and inspect to detect violators. However, as of September 13, 2025, the unit had not yet detected the violators.

According to Mr. Vuong Anh Dung, after the deforestation incident, the unit proceeded to make an inspection report No. 008545/BBKT. Specifically, at the location with coordinates 578318 - 1310897, plot 4, sub-area 267C, 5 3-leaf pine trees of group 4 were cut down, area ^120m2 , at the base of the cut was still fresh with a cross-section diameter from 35cm to 46cm.

Immediately after the incident, Duc Trong Forest Protection Management Board made a record of the scene and made a plan to replant the forest.

At the location with coordinates 5783418 - 1310887, plot 4, sub-area 267C, 10 3-leaf pine trees of group 4 were cut down, area: 232m ² , at the base of the cut, the root diameter of the cross-section is from 20cm to 54cm.

At the location with coordinates 578507 - 1310848, in block 4, sub-area 267C, a small stream about 200m from the deforestation scene, 82 3-leaf pine logs with lengths from 65cm to 120cm, diameters from 19cm to 59cm, total volume of ^6,330m3 were discovered. The above forest products were dry and rotten, no longer of any use, and were the deforested wood brought down to the stream to be disposed of.

Currently, the above 3 locations are production forests, managed by Duc Trong Forest Protection Management Board. By September 11, 2025, the unit will transfer the cases to Duc Trong Forest Protection Department for handling according to regulations.

Accordingly, the total area of ​​forestation implemented by the unit is 2,800 ^m2 ; of which, planting on the deforested area is 352 ^m2 and 2,448 ^m2 is the planting area around the deforested area.
