Positioning Tuyen Lam Lake as a high-end national tourist area.

Tuyen Lam Lake Planning — Leaders of the Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area Management Board reported on some obstacles in the planning process.

The Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area is located approximately 6km south of the city center, covering a total land area of 1,743.12 hectares with 37 projects that have been licensed for investment by the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province (formerly). The project is currently operating, offering tourism products such as sightseeing, entertainment, ecotourism, adventure sports , golf courses, and resorts.

Of that, Tuyen Lam Lake alone covers an area of approximately 350 hectares. In 2017, Tuyen Lam Lake became the first National Tourist Area in Vietnam to be recognized by the Prime Minister as part of Vietnam's tourism development strategy to 2020 and vision to 2030.

Leaders of the Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area Management Board reported on ongoing investment projects. — Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area possesses a unique climate, landscape, and pine forest system that is rarely found anywhere else in the world.

During the meeting, representatives from the Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area Management Board also presented a report on the overall operational projects, highlighting some difficulties encountered in projects related to transportation, lighting systems, and wastewater treatment systems.

Comrade Dinh Van Tuan emphasized that the Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area possesses a climate, landscape, and pine forest system that is exceptionally unique and rarely found anywhere else in the world.

Heads of departments reported on several planning issues in the Tuyen Lam Lake area.

Therefore, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the Management Board of Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area and the Departments of Construction, Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, review all issues related to planning and thoroughly resolve any obstacles in the process of developing the new planning project.

In particular, existing obstacles or new issues arising from changes in regulations must be addressed. Projects should not be left without road access, or plans must be made to adjust and expand narrow, winding roads to ensure accessibility for residents and tourists.

Furthermore, priority should be given to projects that create focal points, ensuring that the Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area truly becomes a high-end tourist destination known to both domestic and international visitors. In particular, strict adherence to building density regulations is essential, and the existing forest must be preserved at all costs, with a focus on sustainable development.

Comrade Dinh Van Tuan requested that all units thoroughly review legal regulations in order to propose new plans.

At the same time, there should be a strategy to attract and select potential investors with a clear tourism development orientation to affirm the position of Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area on the Vietnamese tourism map.
