On November 14, China's Ministry of Natural Resources said that the Liaoning Geological and Minerals Group discovered its first thousand-ton gold mine named Dadonggou in Liaodong, Liaoning province.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, the entire Dadonggou gold mine area has discovered a total of 2.586 billion tons of ore, with a total gold reserve of 1,444.49 tons, with an average content of 0.56 grams/ton.
The gold mine has now passed economic feasibility studies for development and use and is expected to yield good returns.
The implementation of the Dadonggou gold mine exploration project not only further consolidates the national strategic gold resource reserves, but also demonstrates the success of deep and peripheral mineral exploration in existing resource bases, enriching the theory of the origin of gold metal.
This project is of great significance in building a world- class gold industrial base in Liaodong, serving the all-round revitalization of Northeast China.
