
After the incident occurred on the same morning, the City Military Command directed the Defense Command of Area 2 - Thanh My and local forces to urgently approach the scene; at the same time, mobilized 103 officers and soldiers from the City Military Command, Defense Command of Area 2 - Thanh My, the commune militia, Ga Ry Border Guard Station, the Commune Police and the People's Committee of Hung Son Commune along with vehicles to participate in searching for missing victims and handling the landslide.
The City Military Command directed local forces to coordinate with local authorities to promptly evacuate 84 households/314 people in Glao village and 87 households/350 people in H. Jun village of Hung Son commune out of the danger zone.
At the same time, a forward command post was established at the scene, directly commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Tran Kim Tuan, Deputy Commander of the Da Nang City Military Command, to search for the three missing victims, coordinate support for people to evacuate, and protect property.

* On the afternoon of November 14, Hung Son commune set up two control posts at both ends of the landslide area, arranged forces on duty 24/7 to control people and vehicles entering the danger zone, and at the same time support rescue forces to carry out their tasks more safely.
