Danang University of Technology participated in the final round of the international programming competition

DNO - On the morning of August 29, the University of Science and Technology (University of Danang) held a ceremony to send off the team to participate in the world finals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) 2025 held at ADA University, Baku (Azerbaijan) from August 31 to September 5.

This is one of the three best teams in the country and is the only representative of the University of Technology present at this prestigious playground.

The team from the University of Technology is named BKDN.Arcane, consisting of students: Le Ngoc Bao Anh (class 23T - KHDL1), Luu Duy Quang (class 22T - KHDL), Vo Dac Bao An (class 21TCLC - DT1). The team is guided by Dr. Pham Minh Tuan, lecturer of the Faculty of Information Technology.

Before qualifying for the world finals, the BKDN.Arcane team affirmed its mettle and capacity through a series of outstanding achievements such as: ICPC Central Region Champion 2024; First Prize ICPC National 2024; Silver Medal ICPC Asia Hanoi Regional Contest 2024; Bronze Medal ICPC Asia Pacific Championship 2025.

ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) is a long-standing and prestigious competition in the field of programming. In the 2024 - 2025 season, the competition attracted more than 73,000 students and 12,000 coaches from 3,424 universities in 103 countries. Only the best teams from 8 continental regions will be able to participate in the final round.

The 49th ICPC 2025 Finals will take place in Azerbaijan, where teams will compete for 5 hours on complex algorithmic problems that require creative thinking, strategy and high-level teamwork skills.

Participating in this arena shows that the Polytechnic University team has become one of the few elite representatives, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading universities such as MIT, Peking University, Tsinghua, Oxford, Tokyo Tech.

This is a prestigious milestone, affirming the capacity of students of the University of Technology on the global intellectual map; at the same time, opening up opportunities to connect with a community of more than 400,000 ICPC alumni - the world's leading scientists , engineers and technology leaders.

On this occasion, VNG Corporation, Mixel Vietnam Co., Ltd., Kaopiz Software Joint Stock Company, ANTBUDDY Joint Stock Company awarded scholarships worth 65 million VND to the BKDN.Arcane team to support and encourage the team on their journey to conquer the international intellectual arena.
