On November 20, University of Foreign Languages, Danang University celebrated the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the science and technology activities of the University of Foreign Languages, University of Danang achieved many outstanding results with 1 Danang University-level topic, 15 grassroots-level topics and 37 international articles. Student scientific research remained strong with 304 topics, 167 reports and many awards at all levels.
The school continues to expand international cooperation with 18 newly signed agreements and memorandums of understanding and 50 cooperation agreements with partners from Korea, China, Japan, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, etc. Application of information technology and digital transformation is identified as a strategic pillar; facilities continue to be invested in modernly.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Rector of the University of Foreign Languages, University of Danang, said: "In the coming time, the school will focus on developing high-quality human resources; innovating university governance associated with digital transformation; improving training quality according to international standards; expanding strategic cooperation; promoting scientific research; developing alumni and business networks; and strengthening the school's identity to affirm its position in the region."
The school received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister of the Lao PDR; 3 individuals received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; a group received an Emulation Flag from the Ministry of Education and Training. In addition, 2 groups and 14 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training.
On this occasion, the Association of Former Teachers of the University of Foreign Languages, Danang University awarded 12 scholarships to disadvantaged students.
In the celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day and commendation and awards for the 2024 - 2025 school year, University of Technical Education, University of Danang congratulated and honored 4 new PhDs including: Dr. Nguyen Le Van; Dr. Phan Thanh Ngoc; Dr. Cao Nguyen Khoa Nam and Dr. Do Hoang Ngan Mi; honored and rewarded 80 emulation fighters of the 2024-2025 school year.

In 2025, the school will have 8 more training programs accredited according to national quality accreditation standards, bringing the total number of accredited programs to 15/22 training programs.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Le Hung, Principal of the University of Education, Danang University, said that these results are a testament to the sense of responsibility, constant efforts and dedication of the entire staff, lecturers and students of the school.
Sharing with the staff and lecturers of the member schools, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Director of Danang University, also expressed his hope: "The more proud we are of our profession, the more we reflect on our responsibility to the career of cultivating people, to society, especially the career of innovation in education and training in the context of the country entering a new era.
Teachers today not only need to have qualities, knowledge and professional skills, but also need to be pioneers in digital transformation, digital education, and must master modern technology and educational science to guide, guide and inspire learners to seek and develop knowledge; ignite in students a spirit of initiative, creativity, excitement in learning and responsibility to the community.
