Law University stops considering combination C00 in 2025 enrollment

In 2025, the University of Law - Vietnam National University , Hanoi will enroll 4 majors/training programs with a total enrollment target of 1,100.

This year, the University of Law - Vietnam National University, Hanoi uses the following admission methods: Considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, Combining the results of the high school graduation exam with international English certificates (IELTS, TOEFL iBT) for admission; Direct admission/priority admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Considering the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Priority admission according to the regulations on the specific mechanism in admission of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the admission information of the University of Law; Admission of candidates who are students of university preparatory schools.

Thus, compared to last year, in 2025, the school will no longer use the method of considering the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by VNU-HCM for admission.

With the admission method using high school graduation exam scores, the school uses 6 groups including C03 (Math, Literature, History), A07 (Math, History, Geography), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D14 (Literature, History, English), D15 (Literature, Geography, English).

Thus, compared to last year, the school removed 5 combinations, including C00 (Literature, History, Geography), A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), D03 (Math, Literature, French). Only two combinations were used from last year, A01 and D01.

According to the school, the selection of admission combinations is considered and weighed by the school to create opportunities for candidates in different regions, as well as create conditions for candidates to choose graduation exam subjects and subjects to register for appropriate university admission.

In the admission method based on high school exam results, for admission combinations with foreign languages, the University of Law only uses the exam scores in the 2025 high school graduation exam, does not use the results of exemption from foreign language exams according to the high school graduation exam regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; does not use the exam scores reserved from the high school exam in previous years for admission, and does not add priority points for candidates with vocational certificates.
