On April 21, Foreign Trade University solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony for the first batch of 2024 for more than 1,300 full-time university students of the 59th course and additional courses at the Hanoi Headquarters, Quang Ninh Campus and students of the part-time and distance learning programs.

Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - Party Committee Secretary, Principal of the School; Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Chairwoman of the School Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thu Huong - Vice Principal; Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien - Vice Principal; Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien - Head of Training Management Department; Dr. Phung Manh Hung - Chairman of the School's Trade Union, Head of Project Management Department; Dr. Vo Xuan Loc - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the School; Dr. Nguyen Binh Minh - Director of Quang Ninh Campus; teachers of the School; parents and especially the presence of more than 1,300 new graduates of the first batch in 2024.
At the beginning of the ceremony, authorized by the President of the University, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien - Head of Training Management Department gave a speech summarizing the achievements of the students in this graduation ceremony, and at the same time announced the decision to recognize the graduation of the President of Foreign Trade University for full-time university students of Course 59 and additional courses at the Hanoi Headquarters and Quang Ninh Campus and students of part-time training and distance learning.

The graduation ceremony of the first batch of 2024 marked an impressive number of more than 1,355 university students, including 1,087 full-time university students at the Hanoi Headquarters and Quang Ninh Campus; and 268 part-time and distance learning students who completed their training programs and were recognized as graduates. The first batch of 2024 graduates have demonstrated their outstanding efforts during their studies at the University. Of the 1,087 full-time university students who graduated, more than 34% achieved excellent academic results.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of Foreign Trade University warmly praised the academic and training achievements of all students who were awarded their diplomas this time. The President shared: “In this sacred moment, you are completely proud of having completed the training program at Foreign Trade University. Where every day, everyone strives to build and develop an ecosystem with an open educational philosophy, highly integrated with international standards, closely linked to practice. A place that nurtures honesty, responsibility and creativity" with the motto of action "Different to lead" and the core values "Creativity - Excellence; Responsibility - Courage, Diversity - Harmony".

In the emotional atmosphere of this Graduation Ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan also sent a message to the new graduates to be indomitable, creative, dynamic, and willing to sacrifice to always lead and reach the top, and to burn out for their ambitions and passions. The school hopes that you will be FTU Ambassadors flying like Dandelion flowers, bringing the values of Foreign Trade University to everywhere. The results you have achieved are not only a source of joy and pride for you and your family, but also a great source of encouragement and motivation for your teachers and the school.
At the ceremony, the School Principal awarded Certificates of Merit and medals to 20 new graduates who achieved the title of Outstanding Students of the 1st Graduation Ceremony in 2024. Representing the new graduates of this batch, student Le Do Thanh Trung - Former Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union with a GPA of 3.93/4.0 and a total training score of 100/100, spoke to express his honor to represent the new graduates of the first batch of 2024, and at the same time shared his feelings and sent his gratitude to the teachers and family at the ceremony: "The vibrant environment here has ignited in us the fire of passion and desire to conquer. How can we stand still when we are surrounded by teachers who always work with enthusiasm, and friends who always strive to study and practice with all their determination".
Sending a message to his peers, Thanh Trung shared: “Confidently continue to write wonderful melodies with your own style, with all the enthusiasm and passion of youth, so that when that song is played, you will be satisfied with the best, most creative, most unique, most brilliant sounds and above all, the most loved.”
Continuing the program, representatives of outstanding students graduating this time and the new graduates solemnly performed the oath-taking ceremony, continuing the tradition and spiritual values of Foreign Trade "firmly reaching out to the ocean".

The ceremony brought emotional, thoughtful and proud moments to the new graduates and attendees. It was a moment when the images of the close relationship with the students, the commemorative clip with images of the online learning time of K59, images of extracurricular activities, the surging waves in the hall and the tight hugs were exchanged by the new graduates, in lieu of thanks and congratulations for a journey that has accompanied and achieved today's success; officially marking a new milestone on the journey of conquering knowledge of the students./.
