On August 29, Hanoi Medical University announced that it will enroll 80 additional students in the Social Work major based on high school graduation exam scores. The admission combinations include A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), B08 (Math, Biology, English). The admission application threshold is 17.
Social Work is a new major that has started enrolling students this year.
Candidates nationwide who wish to enter the school must submit their applications directly from 8:00 a.m. on September 3 to 4:00 p.m. on September 12. The application includes a notarized copy of the high school graduation exam certificate and a copy of the foreign language certificate and national and international awards (if any).
This year, the admission score to Hanoi Medical University ranges from 17 to 28.7. Social work and two other majors with low admission scores are Preventive Medicine and Nursing at Thanh Hoa branch - both have 17 points.
This year, Hanoi Medical University will enroll 1,910 students through two methods: direct admission and based on high school graduation exam scores. According to the announcement, this school year, tuition fees for the school's majors are expected to range from 16.9 to 62.2 million VND/school year, an increase of 1.9 to 7 million VND compared to 2024.
Of which, the highest tuition fees for Medicine, Traditional Medicine, and Dentistry are 62.2 million VND/year, an increase of about 7 million VND/school year.
The tuition fee for the majors of Ophthalmology Refractive Surgery, Medical Laboratory Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, Advanced Nursing Program, Midwifery, Medical Imaging Technology, and Dental Restoration Technology is 47.2 million VND/year, an increase of about 5.4 million VND/year.
The remaining majors range from 16.9 to 31.1 million VND/year, of which Psychology and Social Work are the majors with the lowest tuition fees at Hanoi Medical University.
