On October 27, in Hai Phong, the Central Council of Young Pioneers, the Center for Support and Development of Vietnamese Children in collaboration with the Vietnam Post Corporation and the Vietnam Stamp Association launched the 2026 Stamp Collection and Research Contest with the theme " The Communist Party of Vietnam and the journey of national development through postage stamps".
The theme for 2026 is of special significance. The goal is to help students understand the Party's leadership role in the nation's historical turning points, and identify the country's development milestones through each postage stamp. From there, the contest contributes to fostering pride, deep gratitude and a sense of responsibility for the young generation in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers, Head of the contest organizing committee Le Anh Quan emphasized that the contest is a practical activity to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party. By participating in the contest, students not only learn about history and recognize the leadership role of the Party in the journey of building the country, but more importantly, they are placed in the flow of the country.

"When you study well, you are making the Fatherland stronger. When you live beautifully, you are continuing the glorious tradition. When you entrust your dreams through your contest entries, you are contributing your generation's voice to the great story of the country; each contest entry is not only an intellectual product, but also a tribute to the past, a commitment to the future, a "red stamp" of patriotism printed on each postage stamp," comrade Le Anh Quan shared.
The 2026 Postage Stamp Collection and Learning Contest will be held from October 27, 2025 to March 27, 2026. This is an annual playground, for the main subjects being team members, teenagers, and children nationwide, from 8 to 15 years old (from grade 3 to grade 9), studying at primary schools, secondary schools, palaces, children's houses and youth and children activity centers.

Within the framework of the ceremony, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers also awarded 20 scholarships (VND 1 million/scholarship) and 30 gifts to children of Quang Trung Primary School, to encourage them to continue to preserve the Young Pioneers' tradition, fostering gratitude and national pride.
