Providing support for students and teachers in flood-affected areas.

QTO - On the afternoon of December 11th, the Department of Education and Training (GD-ĐT), in coordination with the VNPT-IT Trade Union and VNPT Quang Tri, organized a gift-giving event to support teachers and students in Tuyen Phu commune, one of the areas severely affected by the recent floods.

During this visit, the delegation distributed 130 gift packages, each worth 1 million VND, to share the difficulties and help teachers and students in flood-affected areas quickly overcome the consequences of the natural disaster and stabilize their lives.

The delegation also directly visited and assessed the damage to each household, listening to the urgent needs of teachers and students. The Department of Education and Training also developed plans to provide timely support, ensuring that no student's studies would be interrupted due to the impact of natural disasters, storms, and floods.

It is known that the delegation had previously donated 50 million VND to schools affected by floods in Ba Long commune and will continue to give practical gifts to teachers and students in particularly difficult circumstances during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
