Ea Ktur commune currently has 46 villages and hamlets, including 14 hamlets inhabited by ethnic minorities. In previous years, many poor households in Ea Ktur were not aware of policies supporting access to loans or new production techniques, and a lack of information caused them to be slow to access poverty reduction programs, even missing out on opportunities.
To address this situation, Ea Ktur commune has intensified multi-channel communication, ranging from meetings, Zalo groups, and the commune's information page to officials and youth union members directly going "door to door," thereby ensuring that information reaches the people more quickly, easily, and transparently.
Not only do people have easier access to capital, but they also quickly learn about agricultural extension training schedules, vocational training classes, and health policies, enabling them to proactively participate and apply this knowledge in practice.

In the first nine months of 2025, Ea Ktur commune provided loans to 3,880 poor households, near-poor households, and other policy beneficiaries, totaling over 147 billion VND. The commune also collaborated with organizations and individuals to organize training courses on sustainable durian, coffee, and pepper cultivation techniques for farmers in the commune, with approximately 550 participants. Through these training courses, people have gained a basic understanding of scientific and technical knowledge to apply to agricultural production, achieving high productivity and quality, contributing to increased income and sustainable development.
Alongside traditional communication methods, Ea Ktur commune has established 46 community digital technology groups in 46 villages and hamlets with 279 members to deliver information directly to all residents, especially ethnic minorities.
These groups are tasked with guiding people in researching poverty reduction support policies, assisting them in submitting applications online, and saving them time and travel costs. Information on vocational training, employment, and preferential credit is also quickly updated for the people.
People are instructed on how to use smartphones to access agricultural and market information, or receive quick notifications via the village's Zalo group so they don't miss any activities or support programs.
The close connection with the people and the perseverance of the community digital technology team have helped people develop the habit of thoroughly researching information before taking action. This proactive approach helps them reduce risks when borrowing capital, apply technology correctly, and increase production efficiency.

Thanks to effective implementation, many poor households in the commune who were previously hesitant about technology are now actively seeking information about support policies, agricultural knowledge, listening to expert advice, checking weather forecasts to plan production, and researching markets to sell agricultural products at better prices. Many ethnic minority households have received legal support, dispute resolution, and protection of their legitimate rights and interests.
According to Ngo Tan Le, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Ktur commune, thanks to the coordinated efforts of the local Party committee, government, community digital technology team, and other pioneering forces, Ea Ktur has created a fair and effective information environment. The poor, vulnerable groups, and ethnic minorities are no longer "left behind" in the flow of information and science and technology.
"The biggest change is not just in numbers, but in awareness. People are more aware of their rights, know how to seek official information, and are boldly applying technological advancements to production. This is a crucial factor helping Ea Ktur maintain its goal of sustainable poverty reduction and narrow the development gap between different population groups," Mr. Ngo Tan Le emphasized.
