Buon Tieu currently has 628 households with more than 2,900 people, ethnic minorities account for over 97%. The whole village still has 59 poor households, 73 near-poor households. This reality requires narrowing the information gap, helping people access knowledge, changing their thinking and production methods.

Mr. Y Bong Hmok, Head of Tieu village, said that through village meetings, training sessions and community activities, the role of the grassroots political system, village elders and prestigious people is maximized. These "bridges" contribute to bringing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws closer to the people. Thanks to understanding the customs and prestige in the community, information is conveyed in a close, easy-to-understand way, helping people receive and apply it naturally.

Ea Ktur Commune focuses on disseminating information and improving digital technology skills for people.

Along with that, access to information via smartphones, social networks and loudspeaker systems has helped pepper traders choose plants and breeds suitable for soil conditions and apply new cultivation processes. Information has become the "key" for many households to boldly innovate their methods, increase productivity and create stable livelihoods right on their production areas.

Following the experience of Tieu village, village 12 (Ea Ktur commune) also focuses on disseminating information and improving digital technology skills for people. Through propaganda work, people are guided on how to access, select and apply information in production. The village self-management board and community digital technology team are trained in digital skills, becoming a direct information connection channel to convey policies and preferential loans from the Social Policy Bank, helping people apply them effectively in production.

Mr. Phan Anh Tung, Head of Village 12, said that when people master digital skills, they not only receive one-way information but also proactively exploit it, creating new opportunities for themselves. This is an important shift from a supported mindset to self-employment, helping to sustainably reduce poverty and limit the risk of falling back into poverty in the context of a rapidly changing labor market. At the same time, the synchronous application of information solutions also helps people choose appropriate production models, closely linked to market demand and improve economic efficiency.

“Currently, there are no poor households in village 12. Many effective economic models have been replicated, spreading the spirit of progress throughout the village, while encouraging people to actively participate in movements to build and protect peace for the village,” Mr. Tung shared.

Mr. Phung Minh Chuong, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Ea Ktur commune, said that to ensure that people have quick and accurate access to information, zalo groups, facebook and the commune's electronic information page regularly update loan policies, effective production models, livestock and crop farming techniques, etc. Thanks to that, people can apply new techniques, expand models and find outlets for products.

Prestigious people in Ea Ktur commune "go to every alley, knock on every door" to propagate the Party's policies and the State's laws to the people.

The increased direct communication to each village and hamlet has created a clear change in people's awareness. Poverty reduction policies, production support, preferential loans, etc. are disseminated promptly to help people understand correctly, grasp firmly and boldly register to participate. People no longer have the mentality of waiting for support, but are increasingly proactive in approaching policies, choosing appropriate production models and actively participating in technical training courses, thereby raising their awareness of self-reliance to escape poverty.

In the coming time, Ea Ktur commune will continue to innovate communication work in a visual, close and suitable direction to the characteristics of each village and hamlet. In addition to direct propaganda sessions, the commune will increase the use of loudspeakers, community zalo groups, billboards - posters, and integrate propaganda into village meetings and union activities; at the same time, focus on promoting typical examples and good models to spread the spirit of self-reliance.
