Gifted High School announces sample exam questions for grade 10

This afternoon (February 21), Gifted High School - Ho Chi Minh City National University announced the structure and sample exam questions for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year.

Candidates for grade 10 of the Gifted High School take an exam in at least 4 subjects. Of these, 3 are non-specialized subjects, including Math, Literature and English; 1 exam is a specialized subject of choice from the following subjects: Math, Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology and English.

Each candidate can register for a maximum of 2 specialized exams. In case of registering for 2 specialized subjects, candidates must ensure to choose 1 subject in each group including Group 1: Math, Literature; Group 2: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology and English.

Ho Chi Minh City plans to recruit 62,000 students to public grade 10

In 2025, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City plans to enroll 70% of grade 9 students into public grade 10. Currently, the city has 88,535 students in grade 9, with a target of about 62,000 students to enroll in public grade 10.

The 10th grade exam in 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City will take place on June 6-7. Candidates will take the exam in 3 subjects: Math, Literature, and Foreign Language.
