Posthumously awarded the "Brave Youth" badge to a young man who died while saving four drowning students

On May 27, authorized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union posthumously awarded the "Brave Youth" badge to the relatives of Dang Duy Doanh for his brave act of saving a drowning person.

Mr. Dang Duy Doanh (born in 1994, residing in Zone 3, Cao Xa Commune, Lam Thao District) was the person who died after jumping into the river to save 4 students from drowning on May 20, in the Red River alluvial area in Zone 5, Cao Xa Commune.

When discovering 4 children caught in a whirlpool while bathing in the river, Mr. Doanh and Mr. Nguyen Manh Sang immediately came to the rescue. After bringing the children to safety, Mr. Doanh was exhausted and was swept away by the water.

Mr. Doanh's selfless act of saving people was admired by the community. The Central Youth Union decided to posthumously award him the "Brave Youth" badge, a noble badge honoring an individual who selflessly saved people in life-threatening situations.
