Method 5.1: Priority is given to students who are members of provincial/municipal teams participating in the National Excellent Student Competition or who won first, second, or third prizes in provincial/municipal excellent student competitions.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities said that the leading standard score in the early admission methods 1.2, 2, 4, 5.1, 5.3 is the Multimedia Communications major, with the results in order of method being 28.9, 28.85, 963, 29, 28.85 points.

- Admission benchmarks based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2024 range from 635 to 963 points. In addition to Multimedia Communications (963 points), there are 11 majors with benchmark scores of 800 points or more, including: English Language (882 points), International Standard English Language (850 points); Chinese Language (843 points), International Standard Chinese Language (805 points), International Relations (878 points), International Standard International Relations (855 points), Psychology (887 points),Educational Psychology (825 points), Journalism (875 points), International Standard Journalism (855 points), Tourism and Travel Services Management (835 points).

3 new majors opening in 2024 have an admission score of over 700 points, specifically: Art Studies 765 points, Korean Business and Commerce 785 points, International Studies 745 points.
