From 'Cricket: Adventure to the Swamp' to promoting Thai Nguyen tourism

(PLVN) - Images of Thai Nguyen province come to life through the film "Cricket: Adventure to the Swamp", a collaboration between animation experts and young local intellectuals, opening a new direction for digital cultural economy.

On the evening of May 26, the project reporting program and film screening “De Men: Adventure to the Swamp Village” organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province took place in Thinh Dan ward, Thai Nguyen city. Attending the program were Mr. Trinh Viet Hung - Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, and leaders of Thai Nguyen province.

This is the first product of the digital film studio model created by the cooperation between the University of Information Technology and Communications - Thai Nguyen University and CinePlus Film Studio, aiming to create breakthroughs in exploiting technology and culture.

The program is an opportunity for provincial leaders, departments, branches and business community to experience and orient investment in local cultural and creative industries.

"De Men: The Adventures to the Swamp" is inspired by the prose work "The Adventures of a Cricket" by writer To Hoai, a work that has become a part of the childhood memories of many generations of Vietnamese people. In the film, the audience will follow the two brothers De Men and De Trui on an adventurous journey to the Swamp, where the characters must overcome many challenges, thereby praising friendship and solidarity.

Audiences were excited on the special premiere day of “Cricket: Adventure to the Swamp”.

Not only a place for producing animation and digital content, Digital Studio is also a multidisciplinary experimental space, connecting technology, education, culture and tourism. Many typical images of Thai Nguyen such as tea hills, local trains, natural landscapes and lifestyle in the Northern midlands have been subtly integrated into the film, contributing to effectively promoting local culture and tourism.

The promotion of the film in Thai Nguyen has laid the first bricks in the process of building a factory, a film industrial park, exploiting the cultural values ​​of Thai Nguyen people from the perspective of Vietnamese culture. At the same time, promoting the image of Thai Nguyen - a "gem product" of Vietnam to international friends.
