On September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This momentous event brought our nation into a new era - the era of independence, freedom and gradual progress towards socialism. The thousand-year-old aspiration of our ancestors to build a strong Vietnam is being realized.
The reason for living and the ideal of striving for our entire Party, people and army
Over the past 79 years, since the country's founding, the Vietnamese people, under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam, have achieved glorious feats of arms against foreign invaders and built the country in the 20th century: Maintaining independence for the Fatherland, bringing freedom, prosperity and happiness to the people.
Today, we have a peaceful and prosperous Vietnam thanks to millions of outstanding children of the nation who heroically sacrificed for noble ideals. Every inch of land in our beloved Vietnam is soaked with the blood of our soldiers and compatriots.
Firmly implementing President Ho Chi Minh's ideology in the Declaration of Independence and the sacred oath of the Independence Day on September 2, 1945: "The entire Vietnamese people are determined to devote all their spirit and strength, their lives and property to maintain that freedom and independence." 79 years have passed since that autumn, the aspiration for independence and freedom has become a priceless value system and has become the reason for living and the ideal of striving for the entire Party, people and army on the path forward.

That aspiration has now been raised to a new level, to build an independent, self-reliant, increasingly civilized, modern and powerful Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers, as President Ho Chi Minh always wished for during his lifetime. Every Vietnamese person carries within him great pride because he has the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam and the beloved Uncle Ho, the national liberation hero, the world cultural celebrity, who founded the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
Following in the footsteps of our predecessors for nearly 40 years of implementing the policy of renovation and increasingly deep international integration, Vietnam has achieved many great achievements in the fields of socio-economics, national defense and security... The 13th National Congress of the Party affirmed: "Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it does today."
Reach new heights
From the eternal aspiration for a strong Vietnam, our entire Party, people and army are rising to new heights of intelligence, autonomy, dynamism and creativity to continue making great achievements in the cause of building and defending the country.

Determined to successfully implement the goals set by the 13th National Party Congress: By 2025, Vietnam will be a developing country with modern industry, surpassing the low-middle income level; by 2030, it will become a developing country with modern industry and high-middle income; by 2045, it will become a developed country with high income...
Currently, there are many large-scale and modern projects being built across the country: the North-South expressway system is growing longer every day; airports, ports, and power grids are becoming more and more modern. Social infrastructure is constantly developing in the direction of informationization and digitalization, becoming more and more modern and civilized. By the end of May 2024, the whole country will have 6,370/8,167 communes meeting new rural standards, of which 1,874 are advanced new rural communes, the appearance of the countryside is becoming more spacious and modern every day.
The strategic goal of our entire Party, army and people is “a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization”. Achieving this goal requires the entire Party, army and people to, on the one hand, promote to a new height Vietnamese intelligence and national cultural identity, and on the other hand, to be extremely proactive, creative and quickly absorb the new achievements of the 4.0 revolution into the cause of national construction and defense.
Phu Yen is a province located in the key economic region of the Central region, a gateway for trade with the Central Highlands provinces, with great potential for development. With the attention and support of the central government, the efforts of the Party committees at all levels, the government, the Fatherland Front, organizations and the people of the province have helped Phu Yen gradually overcome all difficulties and challenges to develop. Economic infrastructure has been invested in and has been clearly improved, creating a foundation for socio-economic development.

From a locality separated by Cu Mong and Ca passes, now the door to trade between Phu Yen and other provinces in the region has opened wide, when the Deo Ca and Cu Mong road tunnels were put into use. The economy has developed stably, the appearance of urban and rural areas has improved; culture, education, and health have received synchronous investment; people's lives have improved significantly; the political system has been constantly consolidated and strengthened, national security and defense have been enhanced...
At the end of 2023, the Prime Minister issued Decision 1746/QD-TTg approving the Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. The planning was built with a breakthrough mindset and long-term vision based on the distinct potential of natural resources and culture; opening up development space, creating more momentum for Phu Yen to develop strongly, with the pillars: digital economy, industry - green energy; high-quality service tourism; high-tech agriculture; maritime transport and logistics...
The planning is of great significance, aiming to concretize the Politburo's policy in Resolution 26-NQ/TW on the development of the North Central and South Central Coast regions; expressing the people's aspiration for a green, beautiful, prosperous and happy Phu Yen.
Promoting the revolutionary tradition of the heroic homeland and the spirit of National Day September 2, the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Yen are determined to unite, unify, promote internal strength and achievements, strive to overcome difficulties, successfully organize and implement the orientations and development goals of the province according to the resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress; gradually realize the aspiration to bring Phu Yen to develop richly and prosperously, contributing to building a prosperous and happy Vietnam.
