After more than 17 years working with SHB, Mr. Ly Anh Dao, Director of SHB Gia Lai Branch, could not hide his happiness when witnessing the bank growing stronger and transforming strongly in the flow of the times, accompanying the development of the country, entering a new era.

For Mr. Dao, SHB has gone beyond the meaning of a job, it is a journey of attachment, dedication and sharing, where he finds pride and motivation to constantly strive every day.

“Every morning when I wake up, the first thing I think of is SHB. Whenever I go on a business trip, right after getting off the plane, I will carry my suitcase from the airport and go straight to the office. I cannot be away from SHB. If I don’t go to the bank every day, I feel unhappy and can’t sleep or eat well,” said Ly Anh Dao.

As an employee who has been with SHB for nearly 13 years, for Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong, working at the 24/7 Multi-Channel Support Center, SHB is not only a workplace but has become her "second home". And her happiness is a lasting emotion, nurtured every day. Ms. Huong is proud to witness this place change every day, from a cramped office to the present very decorated time. That is the effort of everyone, the care, and deep understanding of the employees' emotions of the Board of Directors.

Similarly, having worked at the Marketing Center for 17 years, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hang feels completely happy when witnessing her own growth along with the development of SHB. For her, 2025 is a happy year when she has just received the "For the Cause of Vietnamese Banking" Medal from the State Bank and welcomed a very dear "colleague".

“My greatest happiness is that my daughter recently became my colleague. Now, we are not only close in life but also in the common home of SHB, which makes us extremely proud,” Ms. Thu Hang confided. Two generations wearing the same SHB uniform, a beautiful testament to the bond, trust and pride in a humane and happy working environment.

Not only becoming a role model for her children, with her positive energy, Ms. Hang has also become an inspiration for younger generations, especially in the Marketing and Brand Development Department.

Besides long-time employees, even new employees can feel happiness at SHB right from the first days. Although she has only worked at SHB for more than three months, Ms. Yen Le (Internal Communications and Corporate Culture Department) has experienced and understood that value.

“What makes me happy at work is that there is always a united team that helps each other. After work, everyone can still sit together and drink tea, share family stories. The direct manager always motivates, creates space and empowers members to contribute and develop,” said Ms. Yen.

Happiness spreads from sharing and giving

Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hang shared that her joy and happiness while working at SHB also comes through volunteer activities, bonding and sharing. As a member of the Executive Board of the trade union, Ms. Hang always strives to spread the humanitarian spirit of SHB: from social security programs, family reunions to visiting relatives of staff, seemingly small things but containing rare care.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang (Marketing and Brand Development Division) still remembers the moment when the entire SHB system put their hands on their chests and sang the National Anthem at 2:00 p.m. on September 2. It was part of the program “Happiness is Vietnamese”, organized on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day. That moment brought him deep pride and happiness when he was able to immerse himself in the spirit of solidarity, spreading love and national pride with the SHB family.
