Propagating and introducing typical values ​​of "Hoa Binh Culture" in Mai Chau district

On April 17, Hoa Binh Provincial Museum organized a propaganda program to introduce typical values ​​of "Hoa Binh Culture" at Mai Chau District Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School.

Provincial Museum staff provided a lot of information about the "Hoa Binh Culture" to students of Mai Chau District Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School.

At the program, the Provincial Museum staff provided valuable information about the "Hoa Binh Culture". This is a Stone Age culture, a famous archaeological culture not only in Vietnam but also has an influence on many countries in the Southeast Asian region. Dating from about 30,000 to 7,500 years ago, "Hoa Binh Culture" is a testament to the long history and rich cultural traditions of the Hoa Binh people.

In Mai Chau district, there are currently 5 sites belonging to the "Hoa Binh Culture" including: Khau Puc cave (Thoc gioi cave), Dan Dua rock shelter, Phung Quyen rock shelter, Lang cave and Khoai cave. Of which, Lang cave (ranked as a national relic in 2005) and Khoai cave (ranked as a national relic in 1997) are two typical sites.

The results of archaeological research and excavations in Mai Chau district have provided important additional materials for historicaleducation and clarified the natural and social development process of the "Hoa Binh Culture". This is also the basis for the locality to develop unique cultural and archaeological tourism products, meeting the needs of sightseeing, studying and researching of the people and tourists.

Through the program, students learn more about the origins of national culture, thereby forming a sense of responsibility in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage, contributing to spreading love for the homeland and country to the community.
