Propaganda and mobilization of students to get vaccinated against measles in the third phase

On April 28, the Department of Education and Training sent a document to the education and training departments and affiliated public service units regarding the implementation of Decision No. 1340 dated April 21, 2025 of the Ministry of Health on promulgating the plan to implement the 3rd phase of the measles vaccination campaign in 2025.

Accordingly, units need to organize propaganda and dissemination of the content of Decision No. 1340 to managers, teachers, staff, and students, focusing on propagating the meaning and benefits of measles-containing vaccination; propagating and mobilizing families and parents to agree to let their children participate in vaccination. In addition, heads of units proactively coordinate with medical facilities in vaccination for children and students according to the instructions of the health sector; coordinate with relevant agencies and units in organizing inspections and supervision before, during and after implementing supplementary vaccination.

Since the beginning of the year, the province has carried out two rounds of measles vaccination for children and students. According to the Ministry of Health 's plan, the third round will be completed before May 15, for children who have not been vaccinated or have not received enough doses of measles-containing vaccine.
