Currently, EVNSPC and its member units are ready with plans to ensure safe and stable power supply; strengthen operational discipline to ensure security, safety and fire prevention during holidays, serve political, cultural and social events organized by the locality, contributing to the success of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and International Labor Day 1/5.

Southern provinces' electricity is on duty 24/7 to ensure power supply on the occasion of Hung Kings' death anniversary and April 30 - May 1 holidays.

EVNSPC organizes leadership, operation, and electrical repair duties, ensures SCADA system operation, ensures stable and continuous 24/7 computer and communication network systems during the holidays. At the same time, it requires Power Companies to inspect and strengthen the power grid to ensure safe, continuous, and reliable power supply for electricity customers, locations of political, cultural, and artistic activities during the holidays, and pay attention to ensuring power for factories and businesses producing clean water and irrigation to combat drought and salinity.

EVNSPC pays special attention to the task of ensuring electricity for important locations in the management and power supply areas such as: Headquarters of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, national defense and security agencies; leadership agencies in provinces and cities; radio and television agencies at the central and local levels, hospitals, and clean water production facilities.

EVNSPC will not interrupt power supply on Hung Kings' death anniversary and April 30 - May 1 holidays.

At the same time, prepare adequate supplies, equipment, communication systems and means of transport, and be ready to quickly handle any incidents that may arise. Coordinate with local authorities, police and military to develop and implement plans to protect security and order, safety and fire prevention for electrical works, agency headquarters, warehouses, camps, etc.

In recent times, the Electricity Companies of 21 provinces and cities in the South have actively coordinated with local authorities and media agencies to organize propaganda and widely disseminate measures for safe and economical use of electricity to electricity customers; propagate prevention and strictly handle cases of shooting metal-coated paper fireworks, flying kites, throwing objects onto power lines, violating the safety corridor of the power grid, etc.
