U.21 PVF, Hanoi and LPBank HAGL I entered the quarterfinals of the national U.21 tournament

On the afternoon of July 22, the final round of the 2025 National U.21 Championship continued with the second round of matches of groups B and C. Winning their second consecutive victory, PVF, Hanoi and LPBank HAGL I soon secured tickets to the quarterfinals.

U.21 The Cong Viettel and PVF are the two candidates for the top spot in Group B. As expected, the quality of the squads of The Cong Viettel and PVF are both high, so the two teams created an equal match. In that match, PVF scored the opening goal in the 70th minute. In the 24th minute, Phi Hung caught the ball outside the penalty area, put the ball into the top corner, opening the score for TP.HCM. In the 37th minute, Phi Hung dribbled on the right wing and then crossed the ball for Thanh Dat to jump high and head the ball to increase the score to 2-0.

Three shots later, Thanh Dat scored again against Tay Ninh after a turn and shot into the low corner of the opponent's goal before the opponent reduced the score to 1-3 in the 45th minute thanks to Chi Trung. In the 53rd minute, Ho Chi Minh City had another goal thanks to Nguyen Long before Thanh Dat headed the ball into his own net in the 64th minute to seal the score at 5-1.

In Group C, U.21 Hanoi continued to assert their strength when they defeated Dong Thap with a score of 3-0. In the 24th minute, Van Toan opened the victory for the capital team with an accurate shot. Seven minutes later, Van Tuyen headed the ball to increase the score to 2-0 after a teammate's cross. The 3-0 victory was decided for Hanoi in the 81st minute with the same scenario and Anh Tuan was the author of this third goal.

In the remaining match, LPBank HAGL I had no difficulty defeating Dak Lak with a score of 2-0.
