U22 Vietnam announced the list: Viktor Le, Bui Alex are present

At the end of last year, Viktor Le completed the procedure for Vietnamese naturalization, after which he was called up to the U22 Vietnam team to participate in a friendly tournament in China.

With impressive performance in the Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club shirt, the player whose father is Vietnamese and mother is Russian continued to be called up to U22 Vietnam in the second training session in 2025.

In addition to Viktor Le, the list of U22 Vietnam this time includes another notable overseas Vietnamese player, Bui Alex. This striker is currently playing for Bohemians Praha 1905 Club, in the Czech Republic Third Division. This is the club where goalkeeper Patrik Le Giang used to play.

Bui Alex, born in 2005 in the Czech Republic, is 1m78 tall and is a versatile player who can play as an attacking midfielder, winger and striker. He possesses good technique, speed and finishing ability with both feet. The addition of Bui Alex helps increase the depth of the U22 Vietnam team, in line with the strategy of searching for overseas Vietnamese talent.

In the goal of U22 Vietnam, there are Hoa Xuan Tin, Pham Dinh Hai and Cao Van Binh. The defenders include Ho Van Cuong, Nguyen Duc Anh, Le Van Ha, Nguyen Hieu Minh, Nguyen Manh Hung, Nguyen Bao Long, Nguyen Hong Phuc, Pham Ly Duc, Nguyen Nhat Minh.

The midfield of U22 Vietnam includes the names Dinh Xuan Tien, Nguyen Quang Vinh, Nguyen Phi Hoang, Nguyen Van Truong, Nguyen Xuan Bac, Nguyen Thai Son, Le Van Thuan, Pham Minh Phuc.

On the attack line, besides Bui Alex, the remaining 4 strikers are Le Dinh Long Vu, Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Le Phat and Nguyen Quoc Viet.

During this training session, because coach Kim Sang Sik is busy with the national team, VFF continues to hand over the leadership of U22 Vietnam to coach Dinh Hong Vinh in the preparation plan for important goals in 2025, notably the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship, the 2026 Asian U23 Qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games.
