The Provincial People's Committee met to listen to reports on resolving issues related to sports business activities at sea.

Carrying out tasks related to sea sports business activities in Vinh Hy Bay area, on September 5, 2024, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism chaired and organized a meeting with relevant units and localities to discuss, give opinions and resolve current difficulties and problems in granting certificates of eligibility for sea sports business activities, specifically granting certificates of eligibility for sea jet ski business activities according to Decision No. 775/QD-BVHTTDL dated March 28, 2024 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. However, currently, businesses are having difficulty determining the specific locations of mooring buoys and positioning flags for water motorbike business activities. Therefore, they are not qualified to grant certificates of eligibility for sea jet ski business activities.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, based on the proposals and recommendations of the delegates, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units and localities to promote the sense of responsibility, remove difficulties for businesses, put business types into operation, contributing to diversifying services, attracting tourists to Vinh Hy Bay in particular and the whole province in general. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Transport, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Ninh Hai district to coordinate well in guiding businesses to drop anchor buoys and positioning flags in the right positions in the areas where jet ski business is allowed and to issue approval certificates for water area activities according to the requests of businesses to ensure strict compliance with regulations; for the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to continue to research and learn more about regulations on sea area allocation to do a good job of advising on the implementation of tasks related to sea sports business activities.
