Binh Kien Ward Women's Union accompanies members to improve digital capacity

On the afternoon of October 22, the Women's Union of Binh Kien Ward held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Representatives of the Provincial Women's Union, ward leaders, and 115 official delegates attended the congress.

During the past term, the women's movement and the activities of the Women's Union of Binh Kien ward have effectively played a core role in women's affairs and gender equality, making a positive contribution to the socio -economic development of the locality.

The Association has focused on innovating its content and methods of operation, building many effective models; implementing synchronously various emulation movements and campaigns, creating clear changes in the awareness and actions of its members. Family and social welfare work has been emphasized, contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives and affirming the role and position of women in the family and community.

During its term, the Women's Union of Binh Kien Ward sponsored 8 disadvantaged children with a total of 4.5 million VND/month; supported 77 women in starting businesses, achieving 102.67% of the target; launched a special emulation movement "115 projects and tasks - For a green, clean, and beautiful Dak Lak "; implemented 6 projects, maintained the effectiveness of 8 models and 9 clubs.

For the 2025-2030 term, the Women's Union of Binh Kien Ward has set the goal of building a strong and effective organization that adapts flexibly to the new context; building a team of capable, innovative, and creative union officials; and promoting the role of women in participating in building the Party, government, and developing a green, sustainable, and happy locality.

The Congress also unanimously adopted several key targets, including: annually supporting at least 50 women with startup ideas; helping 3 women's households escape poverty according to multidimensional standards; 100% of branches maintaining cultural and sports models; 100% of association officials receiving digital skills training; and 90% of branch leaders receiving professional training in association work.

The Association also continues to promote the emulation movement "Building the modern woman of Dak Lak" and the campaign "Building a family with 5 essentials and 3 clean aspects". At the same time, it has identified the breakthrough for the term as "Comprehensive digital transformation in the organization; accompanying women in enhancing their digital capabilities," contributing to affirming the image of dynamic and creative women in Binh Kien in the new era.

The newly elected Executive Committee was introduced at the congress.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Binh Kien Ward Women's Union, term I, consisting of 35 members; and the Standing Committee, consisting of 9 members. Ms. Phi Thi Hong Tang was appointed to the position of President of the Binh Kien Ward Women's Union for the term 2025 - 2030.
