burst of happiness
In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Nguyen Tran Yen Nhi (12D1 student, Cua Lo High School, Nghe An ) achieved impressive scores: 9.75 in Literature, 10 absolute points in both History and Geography. With the above results, she became the valedictorian of block C00 nationwide.
“On the morning of July 16, when checking my exam scores, my mother and I were both nervous and worried. When the scores appeared, I burst into tears because I was so happy and excited. My mother, who was sitting next to me, hugged me and cried too. I want to share this joy with my family, teachers, and friends who have always accompanied and helped me throughout my studies,” Yen Nhi was moved.

The female student said that the score she achieved today was the “sweet fruit” after months of continuous effort in studying. This result, for Yen Nhi, was both surprising and expected. Because after the exam, she had estimated her score and was confident that she could score over 29 points. However, when she looked up her score, she was still very nervous and worried.
According to Yen Nhi, this year's C00 exam has high differentiation, especially in Literature. Although it is her forte, when reading the questions, she was still a bit confused and it took her a few minutes to figure it out. Nhi said that her score of 9.75 in Literature was higher than expected, but for her, it was not luck but the result of a process of continuous effort.
“I like the social argument with the theme “Every homeland’s sky is the Fatherland’s sky” the most. I analyzed and related the merger of provinces and cities; talked about the responsibility and efforts of the young generation in the era of national development,” the female student shared.

With History and Geography, Yen Nhi is confident because she has prepared thoroughly, and getting a perfect score is within her expectations. With these two subjects, the female student chose to learn from the basics instead of rote learning. “This year’s exam has true-false questions that require thinking, so memorizing by heart is difficult to get a high score. Learning from the basics helps me confidently solve all types of questions,” Yen Nhi said.
Dream of becoming a teacher
Yen Nhi is the eldest sister in the family. After Nhi is her younger brother who is in 10th grade. Her father passed away when she was 4 years old, all the burden fell on her mother's shoulders. Understanding her mother's hardships, the two sisters always tried to study hard. For 12 years, Yen Nhi was an excellent student. In 12th grade, she won second prize in the provincial excellent student competition in Literature.
I always maintain a scientific study schedule. Every day, Nhi studies at home from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. When stressed, she will listen to music or watch movies to relax. "I don't study too late at night because my health doesn't allow it. I also don't study too hard because I'm afraid it won't be effective," Nhi said.

In the near future, Yen Nhi will apply for admission to Hanoi Pedagogical University, majoring in Literature Pedagogy.
“Since middle school, I have dreamed of becoming a teacher like my mother and grandmother. My mother is my support to strive in my studies. I want to become a literature teacher in the future to impart knowledge to students in disadvantaged areas,” Yen Nhi confided.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ut Suong, homeroom teacher of class 12D1, shared: “Yen Nhi is a student with great determination, always trying to overcome all her own limits. This achievement is not surprising. Because in the mock exams of the school and the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, Yen Nhi is always in the group of students with the highest scores.”
